Wood is a natural material susceptible to the elements. Avoid placing your furniture in highly humid or dry areas, such as directly next to air vents. Do not place pieces outdoors. Direct & indirect sunlight may slightly darken or lighten wood furniture. We suggest you avoid placing an object on a wood product for the first 2 weeks once product arrives, in order to allow it to acclimate to the light conditions . Clean surface with a soft cloth and water. Do not use all purpose cleaner or products such a windex. We suggest using felt pads and coasters for hard or wet objects that may be placed on wood product. Wood filler is used in areas where the natural material has imperfections. These imperfections are smaller than a dime.

The lacquer process is done by hand and minor imperfections may occur. Imperfections may show up more clearly on high gloss surfaces which must be accepted. Please do not try and repair scratches with spot treatment techniques, it is unlikely that a smooth transition will be achieved. If a major imperfection occurs it is best to repaint the whole item. Avoid placing hard objects on top of lacquer pieces. Do not drag items on lacquer pieces. Clean surface with a soft cloth and water. Do not use all purpose cleaner or products such a windex. Do not use a circular motion when cleaning.

Do not wash or dry clean either fabric. Please reach out to a specialist who has experience cleaning these fabrics. If a spill occurs on the leather, use a small amount of dish soap and water on a washcloth to gently remove the stain.
